Dear Uwe,

Congratulations on your film, "Heart of America-Homeroom".
I say congratulations but it's more like "thank you". You've made a very
sobering, thought provoking film. As a parent of high schoolers, I was
intrigued by the subject matter and emotionally affected as I watched.

Your film has impact. Not in a heavy-handed way, but honest and without
agenda.

The performances from your young cast are terrific. The cinematography
gives the film a very stark quality that works well. I understand that
you had a limited budget which makes your effort that much more
impressive.

Good luck with what I know will be a stream of compelling projects in
the future.
