Starting to shoot his first eight-millimeter film at the age of 12, Roesch has known since that day, that he wanted to be working in the entertainment industry. While being in college, Roesch started writing as film journalist for newspapers and magazines. After college he served as editor-in-chief for different magazines. For more then 10 years, Roesch has been working as a partner to director/producer Uwe Boll. In January 2000 Roesch went with Uwe Boll to Vancouver, BC, to work on Boll's first American feature film "Sanctimony". In "House of the Dead" Roesch serves as co-executive producer. In 1996 Michael Roesch co-founded with partners the German Kinostar
Theater GmbH. Kinostar is a theatrical distribution, theatrical exhibition,
marketing and development company. Kinostar runs one of the largest theatre
chains in southern Germany.
